Our child centred canine assisted activity classes are open to under 21's with additional needs, recovering from trauma or who identify as LGBTQ+. In these classes we use therapy dogs so customers are not able to bring their own dog to these classes.

Child centred canine assisted activity classes contain a mix of activities and games including:

> Treasure hunts

> Foot and paw print art

> Party style games

> Mini competitions

> Team games and challenges

> Dog grooming

> Dog agility

> Local trips

> Traffic lights and road crossing role play

and so much more. We tailor the activities to the needs, aims, sensitivities and abilities of the customers.

In our child centred canine assisted activity classes we aim to:

> promote interpersonal skills

> promote balence and coordination

> promote life skills

> promote road awareness and other safety skills

> encourage young people and build confidence

> encourage customers to develop friendships

> to develop empathy and understand of others and their needs

> encourage children and their families to set achievable goals
