To enable us to provide to as many young people as possible, at the level they require, we have two assistance dog memberships for assistance dogs in training with us:

• Full membership which is our comprehensive assistance dog training program which covers obedience, handling skills, simple behaviour modification, public access skills and task training. The membership is perfect for new or inexperienced assistance dog owners/handlers, owners whose dogs are under 1 years old. To apply to join the program under full membership, participants must first complete the pre-application course. 

• Task based membership which offers task and theory training only. This membership is for people who are experienced dog owners who are very confident they're able to provide all the obedience and public access skills training their dog needs but wants support with task training and to be with an organisation for the additional support and assessments we provide. To join under the tasked based membership, you can apply directly WITHOUT doing the pre-application course and your application will be accepted or rejected within 5 days of application. 

Whichever 'in training' membership, the dogs and handlers under take the same assessments and the assistance dogs are assessed in all areas.
