Introduction Course

  • The introduction course helps you work out if we are the right program for you. 
  • It also helps us work out if we feel we are best positioned to support you.
  • It means every dog entering the assistance dog program has the same foundation in training. 
  • You can do the introduction course either self guided, via zoom sessions or in person. 

Self Guided Introduction Course



  • The self guided introduction course takes place on circle which is a virtual learning zone. 
  • Is split into 3 modules which are released in 3 increments across 10 days. 
  • Each module contains a video class of practical dog training, 'how it works' section and dog training theory. 
  • At the end of the self guided course, you will need to book a 1:1 virtual interview and a virtual assessment (at no extra cost) to demonstrate your dog has learnt all the skills covered in the introduction course and for us to get to know you better and ensure we are the best fit for ya'll 
  • The cost of the self guided introduction course is £70pcm. 
  • You can sign up and start at any time.
  • The course takes a minimum of 10 days, can be completed within 30 days but you can take longer if you wish.

Online live introduction course


  • Our online live introduction course gives you 3 x 40 minute zoom sessions to cover the introduction course. 
  • These sessions are capped at 6 households per course. 
  • These sessions cover 50% practical and 50% theory.
  • Following each session you also have access to the self guided introduction course to recap on topics covered and the practical. 
  • Following the 3 sessions, if you wish to join the assistance dog program you'll be invited to book a 1:1 virtual interview and a virtual assessment (at no extra cost) to demonstrate your dog has learnt all the skills covered in the introduction course and for us to get to know you better and ensure we are the best fit for ya'll. 

Upcoming Online Live Introduction Courses

In person introduction course


  • Occasionally, we offer in person introduction courses. 
  • These cover the same skills and topics as the virtual introduction courses and consist of 2 x in person practical dog training session and 1 x in person theory session. 
  • These are capped at 4 dogs per course
  • Due to the size limitation, the cost of these is slightly higher at £85 total. 
  • Unlike the virtual options you will not need to attend a 1:1 interview or demonstration assessment. 

Please note: The trainers children may be in attendance and the training takes place in public environments not private hired locations and therefore other dogs or people may be around.
